How much does a home services virtual assistant or dispatcher cost?

A home services virtual assistant or dispatcher from Assistiq costs $1,497 a month full-time: one native bilingual English and Spanish operator, 40 hours a week, working in your ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro or Jobber. Starter is $1,097 a month for 20 hours a week, the size for a shop where the board is a half-day job or a one-crew contractor. Operator Pro is $1,797 a month for the same seat filled by someone with verified comparable work in your industry. The office seat, company-issued equipment, an embedded supervisor, a 3-operator warm bench and a 5-business-day replacement SLA are inside the price, with no setup fee and no annual contract.

Assistiq is a managed bilingual virtual assistant agency for US businesses: native bilingual English and Spanish operators working from a supervised office in Latin America, anchored to Eastern Time, full-time from $1,497 a month.

0108The price, in one table

Five tiers, one flat monthly price each.

Every tier on this table serves a home services office. Operator is the tier most service companies choose: one full-time bilingual dispatcher or CSR, $1,497 a month. On Operator, Operator Pro and Specialist the seat, hours, office and supervisor are the same; what changes is the person. The annual column is the monthly price times twelve, a budget line rather than a commitment.

If no Operator Pro or Specialist match is available within 5 business days, an Operator starts and the seat bills at the Operator price until the matching profile arrives. Full detail and the universal terms are on the pricing page.

0208Dispatcher or front office

Dispatcher or front-office assistant: the same price.

At Assistiq a dispatcher and a home services office assistant cost the same, because the price buys scheduled hours, a supervisor and a bench, not a job title. The question is what fills the hours. The board itself, end to end, is on the dispatcher virtual assistant page; the whole front office by trade is on the home services virtual assistant page.

Either way, the decisions stay yours: technical diagnosis, pricing outside your pricebook, safety judgment, and discounts, warranty calls or refunds are never operator work. And one trade is out of scope at any price: freight or trucking dispatch, meaning finding loads and negotiating rates with brokers, is a different trade, and we do not staff it.

0308Evenings and weekends

One dispatcher, one shift. Placed where the calls land.

Each dispatcher works one shift, scheduled where your call volume lands, including early mornings for the board build and evenings for the after-work calls. The plan hours can be scheduled anywhere in the day, so an evening or Saturday shift bills at the same tier price as a daytime one. Across the operation, 20+ hours of live coverage a day are available, scheduled per engagement and anchored on Eastern Time.

Covering the daytime board plus nights or weekends at the same time is a two-operator Custom configuration, quoted with a 6-month minimum. One operator is not a staffed 24-hour line, and we say so plainly. During onboarding we document your after-hours protocol: which calls page the on-call tech, which get booked for the morning, and what the emergency script says. Whatever lands outside the scheduled shift gets reconciled at the next scheduled hour.

If the thing keeping you up is literally the missed call at 9 PM, an answering service or an AI receptionist is the honest purchase, and we will say so on the fit call. Section 05 prices that option.

0408The in-house anchor

What the in-house seat costs, before benefits.

The two hourly figures below are in-house wages paid to employees, not an Assistiq rate. Bilingual dispatcher hires are advertised at $17 to $29 per hour plus benefits (ZipRecruiter, 2026), and average base pay for an in-house dispatcher in the United States is $21.27 an hour before benefits (Indeed, read September 2026). At the advertised range, a full-time in-house dispatcher sits above the Operator tier before you add payroll taxes, benefits, equipment, office space, and the coverage gap every time the seat turns over in a seasonal business.

The honest boundary: an in-house dispatcher is physically in the shop and can hand a tech a part off the shelf, walk to the warehouse and cover the counter. A virtual seat cannot. If the job needs that, hire locally; the in-house hire vs managed agency comparison walks the whole ledger.

For what other providers charge, the Spanish-speaking virtual assistant cost page lays out provider pricing across the market, and the LATAM bilingual VA market rates report shows the verified rates behind it.

0508Answering service or a seat

Answering service, AI receptionist, or a dispatcher seat.

The units differ, so read each option in the unit it is sold in. Answering services price per call or per minute: at the typical $0.95 to $2.50 per call, 300 bilingual calls a month lands between $285 and $750; on per-minute plans at $0.75 to $1.95 with a four-minute average, the same volume runs $900 to $2,340. A dispatcher seat is priced flat by the month, with Spanish and English native to the same operator and no meter.

If reception-only coverage is genuinely all you need, an answering service is cheaper and we will tell you that on the fit call. What it does not give you is a person who runs the board: nobody on that model reworks the day when a job runs long, calls the crew in Spanish, or chases the estimate from Tuesday. The structural comparison is on the answering service vs bilingual VA page.

0608The first week

The first week, and what you pay for it.

The 7-day onboarding is inside every tier, with no setup fee on top. No dispatcher arrives knowing your zones, your techs' skills, your pricebook, your on-call roster or your emergency script, so the week is built to teach them and write them down.

The 7-day money-back applies on Starter, Operator and Operator Pro. The 7-day money-back starts on your operator's first scheduled working day, which is day 1 of the 7-day onboarding, not at signature or payment. After that, unlimited replacements run on a 5-business-day SLA from a 3-operator warm bench in the same office, under the same supervisor, so a replacement steps onto your documented board rather than starting from zero. No buyout fees; cancel after Month 1.

Days 1 to 3 · Your team teaches

Your team walks through your platform, intake script, zones and skills matrix, booking rules, on-call roster and emergency script. Our supervisor sits in and turns all of it into written SOPs.

Days 4 to 6 · Shadowing the live board

The operator shadows whoever runs your board today, on live calls, and rehearses bilingual intake and emergency scripts in supervised role-plays.

Day 7 · First live calls, supervised

Live calls under supervisor review at reduced volume, with same-day correction.

Week 2 · Runs the board

The dispatcher runs the full loop on your cadence, with weekly supervisor sampling ongoing.

0708Your software

Whatever runs your board, the price is the same.

Engagements scope operators working in ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, FieldEdge and Workiz, and roofers' operators working in AccuLynx or JobNimbus. The tier price does not change with the platform, because the delivery model was never built on platform pre-expertise: your team teaches your instance, your board conventions and your booking rules during the 7-day onboarding, and the supervisor documents them as written SOPs.

On Operator Pro, specific software requirements are confirmed before matching, and your team still teaches your own process. The platform-level versions of this workflow are on the Housecall Pro virtual assistant, Jobber virtual assistant and AccuLynx virtual assistant pages, and the trade cuts are on the HVAC virtual assistant and roofing virtual assistant pages.

01

How much does a home services dispatcher cost per month at Assistiq?

Assistiq publishes flat monthly pricing. A full-time home services dispatcher on the Operator tier is $1,497 a month for one bilingual English and Spanish operator at 40 hours a week; Operator is the tier most service companies choose. Starter is $1,097 a month for 20 hours a week, which fits a shop where the board is a half-day job. Operator Pro is $1,797 a month for the same seat filled by someone with verified comparable work in your industry, and Specialist is $2,497 a month for two or more years of prior work in your vertical. The office seat, company-issued equipment, an embedded supervisor and a 5-business-day replacement SLA backed by a 3-operator warm bench are inside the price. Prices as of October 16, 2026.
02

How much does a home services virtual assistant cost per year?

The monthly price times twelve: Starter $13,164 a year for 20 hours a week, Operator $17,964 a year for 40 hours a week, Operator Pro $21,564 a year, and Specialist $29,964 a year. There is no annual contract on Starter, Operator or Operator Pro, so the annual figure is a budget line, not a commitment; you can cancel after Month 1 with no buyout fee. Custom, for two or more operators, is quoted on the fit call and carries a 6-month minimum.
03

What is the all-in first-month cost for a home services virtual assistant?

The tier price: $1,097 for Starter, $1,497 for Operator, $1,797 for Operator Pro or $2,497 for Specialist. There is no setup fee and no bilingual surcharge. The 7-day onboarding, the embedded supervisor, the office seat, company-issued equipment and the warm bench are inside the price, and the operator works inside your own field service platform and phone system. Month 1 on Starter, Operator and Operator Pro carries the 7-day money-back. The 7-day money-back starts on your operator's first scheduled working day, which is day 1 of the 7-day onboarding, not at signature or payment.
04

How much more does evening or weekend home services dispatch coverage cost?

Nothing extra for one shift. Each dispatcher works one shift, and the plan hours can be scheduled anywhere in the day, so an evening or Saturday shift placed where your calls land bills at the same tier price as a daytime one. Across the operation, 20+ hours of live coverage a day are available, scheduled per engagement. Covering the daytime board plus nights or weekends at the same time is a two-operator Custom configuration, quoted with a 6-month minimum. Whatever lands outside the scheduled shift follows the after-hours protocol documented during onboarding and is reconciled at the next scheduled hour.
05

What does it cost to staff two home services dispatchers at the same time?

Two or more operators are a Custom engagement: the operator count set to staff several shifts or two desks at once, supervisor allocation configured to the scope, SLAs written for the engagement, and a 6-month minimum. Custom is scoped and quoted on the fit call, and it has no published floor, so this page gives no number for it.
06

Is a home services virtual assistant cheaper than an answering service?

For reception only, usually not, and we say so. Answering services typically price $0.95 to $2.50 per call or $0.75 to $1.95 per minute, so 300 bilingual calls a month lands between $285 and $750 on per-call plans, or $900 to $2,340 on per-minute plans with a four-minute average call. An Assistiq operator is flat: $1,097 a month for 20 hours a week or $1,497 for 40, with no meter. The difference is the work: an answering service takes the call, while the operator also runs the board, confirms windows, chases estimates and briefs the crew in Spanish. If reception-only coverage is genuinely all you need, an answering service is cheaper and we will tell you that on the fit call.
07

Does the price of a home services virtual assistant change on ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro or Jobber?

No. The tier price is the same whichever field service software runs your board: ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, FieldEdge, Workiz, or AccuLynx and JobNimbus for roofers. On Operator ($1,497 a month), your team teaches your instance, your board conventions and your booking rules during the 7-day onboarding, and the supervisor documents them as written SOPs. On Operator Pro ($1,797 a month), a specific software requirement is confirmed before matching; if no Operator Pro or Specialist match is available within 5 business days, an Operator starts and the seat bills at the Operator price until the matching profile arrives.
08

What happens to the cost if a home services dispatcher does not work out?

Two things protect the price. The 7-day money-back applies on Starter, Operator and Operator Pro: The 7-day money-back starts on your operator's first scheduled working day, which is day 1 of the 7-day onboarding, not at signature or payment. After that, unlimited replacements run on a 5-business-day SLA from a 3-operator warm bench in the same office, under the same supervisor, working from the SOPs written during your onboarding, so a replacement steps onto your documented board rather than starting from zero. There is no buyout fee, and you can cancel after Month 1.
09

Can a home services company start a virtual assistant part-time?

Yes. Starter is $1,097 a month for 20 hours a week: the Operator profile at part-time hours, same office and supervisor, and the size for a shop where the board is a half-day job or a one-crew contractor. Moving up to Operator at $1,497 a month for 40 hours a week is scoped on a call. The price never rises automatically because an operator learned the account.
